Wang Fenghua
Associate Professor
Wang Fenghua is an associate professor at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts. He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor's degree in 1994 and stayed on as a teacher in the same year. In 2007, he obtained a master's degree as an in-service graduate student and has been engaged in basic art education and public art research for a long time. Published 5 monographs, published more than 10 academic papers in national core journals and provincial-level journals, and published 800 artistic works in domestic and foreign academic journals and books; The oil paintings were selected for the 11th and 12th National Art Exhibitions and were nominated for awards. He has held works exhibitions and participated in academic exhibitions in Britain, France, the United States, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, South Korea, Indonesia, Taiwan, China and other places. The paintings have been collected by institutions such as the China Art Museum, Yinchuan Contemporary Art Museum, Bellini Art Museum in Italy, British Contemporary Painting Association, Singapore Civic Art Park, Yu Deyao Foundation, and Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts Art Museum.In 2018, he was invited to hold a solo exhibition and give a lecture at the University of Leeds in the UK. In 2019, he was invited to participate in the "Chinese Contemporary Art" Forum at Stanford University in the United States.
Appointed as an off campus expert by Xi'an University of Arts and Sciences in 2018; Since 2018, he has served as the Deputy Director of the Public Art Committee of Shaanxi Artists Association.
