They can participate in the creative practice of contemporary art and engage in research, teaching, and other work in the social and cultural field. They have good communication skills and certain research and criticism abilities.

TEACHING AND RESEARCH SECTION

The Experimental Art major is the core field of value transformation and methodological transformation in modern and contemporary art, and it is also the most emphasized art education reform in China in recent years. It is a breakthrough in the internationalization of Chinese art and its education, and a cutting-edge field in social culture and contemporary art. It breaks through inherent paradigms, explores new developments, fields, and directions in art, showcases new ideas, media, and methods, and is a prominent feature and pursuit goal of this major. As a national first-class professional construction site, it has formed a comprehensive coverage system for cost, master's, and doctoral talent cultivation. This major has a deep connection with society and promotes mutual integration. In 2021, it was awarded the title of Course Ideological and Political Demonstration and Teaching Team in Shaanxi Province. In the 4th China Academy Experimental Art Education Conference in 2022, three core courses were showcased as one of the 18 cases. In 2023, I obtained a teaching case for a professional graduate degree in Shaanxi Province, and the course "Cultural Practice in Art Sociology" was awarded honors such as the second batch of national first-class undergraduate courses.Based on the Guanzhong Busy Strike Art Festival, the project "Leveraging the Driving Role of Art Rural Construction in Rural Cultural Revitalization" was approved by the 2020 Ministry of Education's "New Agricultural Science Research and Reform Practice Project", becoming the only art college in China

MAJOR PROFILE

The course of Experimental Art major consists of Materials Experiment (Materials Language and Expression I, II, Solid Materials, Biology and Active Materials); Media experiments (sensory media and performance I, II, III, static images, dynamic images, sound art and performance); Performance experiments (body space, performance theater); Social art is composed of four major modules: cultural practice in art sociology, cultural anthropology and traditional language conversion, social spatial intervention practice, and cultural investigation. In the curriculum training system, the first year is a general education course for professional foundations, the second year is a conceptual practice course, the third year is a social practice and technology media type course, and the fourth year is a research and comprehensive creative course.

CHARACTERISTIC COURSE

Taking "Cultural Practice of Art Sociology" as a typical representative of social art courses, it combines on-site teaching, social practice, and academic exploration to demonstrate the service and expansion of social art, and has been approved as a national first-class undergraduate course. The Guanzhong Busy Stop Art Festival puts the construction of first-class courses and ideological and political education into practice, and regards the social work of art as the focus.
